Album: J.Cole ‘The Off-Season’

Cole season is here.

J.Cole finally shares the hard work put in with his highly-anticipated sixth studio album, The Off-Season.

Tipping off with an introductory by Cam’Ron on “95 South”, Jermaine Cole drops 12 tracks featuring last summer’s “The Climb Back” and his most recent “Interlude“. Other tracks include “Amari“, “Applying Pressure”, “Punchin’ The Clock”, “My Life”, as well “Let Go My Hand”, where Cole addresses the 2013 rumored fight with Puff Daddy.

The LP boasts collaborations “My Life” featuring 21 Savage and Morray, the Lil Baby-assisted “Pride Is the Devil”, “Let Go My Hand” with 6LACK and Bas, who also appears on “100 Mil” and “Hunger On Hillside”. Behind the boards, the album features production by himself, Timbaland, Boi-1da, DJ Dahi, Jake One, Frank Dukes, T-Minus, Tae Beast, and more.

Accompanied with its documentary, Applying Pressure: The Off-Season Documentary, the album follows 2018’s chart-topping album, KOD, and is reportedly a prelude to his next album, It’s A Boy, followed by possibly his final album, The Fall Off.
