Lil Nas X takes an old trip down a rocky road on the latest single and video off his upcoming album, Montero.

Co-starring his father R. L. Stafford, Lil Nas X goes back to 2017 where he soul searches and struggles during his wonder years. He revisits his high school days, employment at Taco Bell, running his Nicki Minaj fan page, and senior prom.

The emotional record follows last year’s “Holiday” cheer, and his most recent No. 1 and controversial hit “Montero“. He performs on SNL this Saturday, May 22.
