Album: Kanye West ‘Donda (Deluxe)’
Yeezy season has returned.
Just less than three months since releasing his Donda album, Kanye West has now dropped the deluxe version.
Along with the original 27 songs, the album has been re-sequenced with five additional tracks including “Up From the Ashes,” “Never Abandon Your Family,” and “Keep My Spirit Alive Pt. 2”. Young Thug makes an appearance on “Remote Control Pt. 2” and the Andre 3000-assisted “Life of the Party”, which Drake previously leaked, gets its official release.
Following a tumultuous rollout and numerous listening events, Kanye West finally released the tenth studio album in August, which debuted at No. 1 a week later.
Donda, named after his late mother Donda West, features “No Child Left Behind“, “Come To Life“, and a star-studded line up of guests including JAY-Z ,who reunites with Ye on “Jail” with Francis & The Lights.
The follow-up to his 2019’s Jesus Is King also features guests DaBaby, KiD CuDi, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Pop Smoke, Conway The Machine, Westside Gunn, The Lox, Jay Electronica, Swizz Beatz, Ty Dolla $ign, Baby Keem, Lil Durk, Lil Yachty, Playboi Carti, Fivio Foreign, Roddy Ricch, Don Toliver, Tony Williams, Shenseea, Syleena Johnson, Vory, KayCyy, and the Sunday Service.
