Album: OT The Real, Statik Selektah ‘Maxed Out’

Philly stand up!

Philly rapper OT The Real and Statik Selektah connect on their collaborative album, Maxed Out.

Produced entirety by Statik Selektah, the 10-track project includes the inspiring “Make It Count” and the rags to riches ditty “The Bottom” featuring Merkules. Other guests include Freeway, Shaquille O’Neal, Gillie Da Kid, and Wallo.

“Statik’s production pulls a different kinda sound out of me. I wrote most of this album on tour with Benny The Butcher. My lawyer got my state probation terminated early so I could be free to move around with the tour” OT The Real comments.  “This is the first music I ever wrote where I was completely free and out of the system.  So it’s only right we titled this jawn Maxed Out.” “OT & I are both into the same style of street rap and this album pays homage to that” Statik Selektah asserts.  “Nothing on here is for radio or a party. All just concrete.”
