Roddy Ricch was arrested on weapons charges in New York over the weekend and he has since been released with all charges dropped.
TMZ reports that the 23-year-old L.A. rapper was set to take the stage at the Governors Ball music festival in Queens on Saturday (June 11), but police stopped his vehicle at a security checkpoint. During the search, NYPD found a loaded firearm, nine rounds of ammo, and a large capacity magazine.
On the following afternoon, Roddy and his driver Collins were released with all charges dismissed, reports the NY Daily News. However the rapper’s bodyguard, Michael Figueroa, who was riding in the passenger seat at the time, was charged and arraigned in Queens Criminal Court.
