Beyonce is coming.

After much-anticipation and speculation, Beyonce has confirmed a new album for this summer.

Titled, Act 1: Renaissance with the release date of July 29, the announcement was revealed by various streaming platforms (TIDAL, Apple Music, Spotify), as well as her official website, which linked a pre-order of a box set that listed music in form of a CD and merchandise in its description. The title of the album suggests a possible multi-part project with act 1 featuring 16 tracks, according to Apple Music.

Act 1: Renaissance will be Beyonce’s seventh studio solo album, the first since Lemonade in 2016. Since then, Bey’s released her collaborative album Everything Is Love with JAY-Z in 2018, followed by her 2018 Coachella live album, Homecoming: Live Album and her curated soundtrack, The Lion King: The Gift both in 2019 and her musical film, Black Is King in 2020.
