Let the Renaissance begin.

Beyonce saddles up and releases the wiggle with her highly-anticipated album, Renaissance, the first act of her album trilogy.

Along with the empowering and uplifting single, “Break My Soul“, Renaissance is a club dance record infused with hip hop and soul providing 16 tracks such as “Cuff It”, “Church Girl”, “Plastic Off The Sofa”, “Alien Superstar”, “America Has A Problem, and more.

Collaborations are limited with “Move” (Tems, Grace Jones) and “Energy” (Beam), however Mrs. Carter is joined by a legendary and talented cast of producers and writers including JAY-Z, The-Dream, The Neptunes, Hit-Boy, No I.D., Mike Dean, Drake, Raphael Saadiq, Labrinth, Skrillex, Tricky Stewart, Syd, Symbolic One, and many others.

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world,” says Beyonce. “It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom.” She also added, “It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

Renaissance is Beyonce’s seventh solo album and her first since 2016’s Lemonade. Since then, Bey dropped her collaborative album with JAY-Z Everything Is Love in 2018. She also released both her Homecoming: Live Album and The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack in 2019 followed by her musical film Black Is King in 2020.
