Talib Kweli and producer Madlib reunite on their new collaboration “After These Messages” featuring Amani.

Shot by Chino Chase, the accompanying music video centers the two MCs bringing their conscious raps on a vibrant set full Brooklyn’s Voodo Fé and African-American artist Aissata Pinto Da Costa.

“Went from native to indigenous to marginalizing minorities,” raps Kweli. “The stories being inspiring the greatest songs you’ve ever heard / We use to hang from trees / Now they hanging on our every word.”

The track is the first single off Talib Kweli and Madlib’s forthcoming album, Liberation 2 due March 3.
