Producer and rapper extraordinaire saves the day with his contribution for the soundtrack to the motion picture film, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse.

Inspired by new animated superhero film, Metro Boomin assembles a team of hip hop superheroes and leads the project with the most recent release, “Calling” performed by NAV, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Swae Lee. Lil Wayne helps kick off the soundtrack with “Annihilate” alongside Offset and Swae Lee, Coi Leray holds it down with “Self Love”, and Nas caps off the set with the closing track, “Nas Morales”.

The star-studded project includes 19 tracks with appearances by Future, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, WizKid, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, JID, NAV, Don Toliver, James Blake, and many more. Volume 2, which has since been added features additional appearances by Dominic Fike, Shenseea, Becky G, Big Boss Vette, MORA, Myke Towers, Omah Lay, Ayra Starr, and Pop Money.

The soundtrack marks Metro Boomin’s first project since last year’s chart-topping album, Heroes & Villains. Earlier this year, Metro revisited the album with his 21 Savage and The Weeknd-collaboration, “Creepin” by releasing the song’s remix featuring Diddy.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is the computer-animated film based on the Marvel Comic character, Miles Morales/Spider-Man and is in theaters now. The film is voiced by Shameik Moore, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Hailee Steinfeld, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Velez, Oscar Isaac, and more.
