Montreal producer Nicholas Craven and Griselda’s Boldy James reunite on their new collaboration, “Brand New Chanel Kicks”.
Recorded earlier this year just days after being released from the hospital, James delivers sleek bars and updates listeners on his recovery.
“Had to place another field bet / Invested in the pill press and ran me up a real check / Three weeks ago was paralyzed, my people’s all was terrified,” raps the Detroit rapper. “Been had a blue check, but in the streets you know I’m verified.”
“Brand New Chanel Kicks” is the first single off Nicholas Craven and Boldy James’ upcoming album, Penalty Of Leadership, the follow-up to last year’s Fair Exchange No Robbery.
