Juice WRLD reunites with Eminem on their latest collaboration, “Lace It” produced by Benny Blanco.
Over a bass-heavy instrumental, the late Juice WRLD wails over the struggles of substance abuse.
“Stressed out, so I tend to take meds / Thе Devil told me, “Good show, break a lеg”,” raps Juice. “All these painkillers like I got a pair of broken legs / All these Percs I pop, you’d thought I was planning to break my neck.”
Meanwhile, Em recognized the countless rappers who have fatally passed due to over dose. “Fentanyl, Oxy Demerol, them are all what possibly got Shock G, Roxy / Codeine and lean is probably what got Lil Peep and ODB,” he raps before later adding, “Tried to kill me then you murdered Jarad didn’t you / Piece of shit thanks to you now we lost Gangsta Boo and Pimp C, Prince and Michael mixing Nyquil.”
“Lace It” is the first single off Juice WRLD next posthumous album, The Party Never Ends, the follow-up to his previous Fighting Demons in 2021. Earlier this year, he appeared on Lyrical Lemonade’s “Doomsday” single with Cordae.
