Video: Logic “Fear”

Can’t hold back.

After announcing his new album Ultra 85, Logic gets things rolling with its first single, “Fear”, which premiers alongside its music video.

Co-produced by himself with 6ix and Conor Albert, the Maryland lyricist takes on criticism with a fearless flow and preaches the importance of living life despite what others think. The matching visual, helmed by Andy Hines, centers a typical day of a drag queen played by drag queen and make-up artist, Tajh Jordan.

“Give a damn if I gotta live up to every single one of your expectations / I remember the moment of my life,” Logic raps. “The moment of eyesight, all up in the spotlight, uh / Uh, people think we gotta be the perception, what you need is an intervention / Everything that you doin’ better be with intention / I hope every single one of you paying attention.”

Ultra 85 will mark Logic’s ninth studio album. It will follow last year’s College Park album, his 3P EP with C Dot Castro and his Inglorious Basterd mixtape.
