B.G. takes a moment to open up on his recent struggles with his latest release, “Really Understand”.

Directed by Joe Yung Spike, the accompanying video depicts the New Orleans rapper in prison and reflecting on his time away.

“If you ain’t been in jail before you really understand / How hard the time be when no one there to hold your hand,” he raps from his cell. “You hearing from the streets that your bitch got a new man / Can’t wait to get release so you can go run up that bag.”

“Really Understand” comes on the heels of his most recent releases “Gold Teeth Jizzle” and “Say My Grace“. Last year, B.G. was released from prison after serving a decade-long bid. He also released a collaborative album with Gucci Mane, Choppers & Bricks.
