Two of Hip-Hop’s most influential groups may soon march their way into the music museum in Cleveland. Along with Donna Summer and The Marvelettes, N.W.A. and Public Enemy have been nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Ceremony takes place at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre on April 13. Good luck, brothers.
Much respect.
Congrats to N.W.A. & Public Enemy.
..will be rocking their** way into** the music museum.. sorry..it was bothering me lol.
Much deserved two pioneering groups, who would ever thought that a group called Niggaz Wit Attitudes who rapped about drugs guns and fucking would ever make the Rock and Roll HOF but both groups also rapped about commentary about shit that plagues the black community, Also I can’t believe my boy Obama let Romney get in his ass like that last night, he is acting like he got the election in the bag he better step his game up before he loses the election, I never saw Obama look shook like he looked last night almost like a fighter who underestimated his opponent.
Both groups deserve to be in the HOF. Hopefully in the future A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, Eric B. & Rakim, KRS and LL get their spot as well.
Much love to Public Enemy and NWA, they deserve it. Looking forward to the day Boogie Down Productions (KRS ONE) gets their due.
Can anyone explain the process of selection?
@remarkoble1
Doesnt Hip Hop deserve its own HOF?
YES! It’s about M’fing TIME! NWA’s music was the soundtrack to my youth. Maybe not the best influence, but still.
‘BOUT FUCKIN’ TIME!!!! SALUTE TO BOTH GROUPS FOR BEING SUCH GREAT PIONEERS OF HIP-HOP MUSIC AND MUSIC IN GENERAL!!!! LEARN YA FUCKIN’ HISTORY KIDS!!!!
DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!
