In less than a month, X found himself behind bars. DMX was taken into custody in South Carolina last night for possession of marijuana and having an active warrant.

This joke never gets old. DMX was arrested this morning in South Carolina for driving without a license. He was detained at County Jail and has been released. “When I could have just paid the money right there on the spot,” Simmons told FOX Carolina. “Basically it was just five hours wasted for nothing. I don’t have a court date or a court appearance.” He said he also had his five-month-old daughter in the car when he was arrested. sly fox

Every dog has its day. But in this case of the X, it’s another run-in with the law. Last Friday, it was reported that DMX was arrested for a D.U.I. in SC. His publicist denied the claim stating he passed the breathalyzer test and was only charged for driving with a suspended license— again.

Un-hunh, here we go again! TMZ got the drop that DMX is returning to the slammer. The 90 day sentence stems from a 2002 driving conviction in Los Angeles. X was placed on probation, but violated the condition. Three weeks ago, he was released from an Arizona after serving four months on a probation violation. Most recently, he appeared on Busta Rhymes’ remix and was caught recording new material. Damn, Earl.

We’ve been down this road before. Come tomorrow, DMX will be released from an Arizona jail. X is serving time for five counts of probation violation. Hopefully the Dog keeps his nose clean. yk2
