Welcome To L.A.

L.A. Reid’s been there, done that, and has the plaques to prove it. With a career that spans over 30 years, the Epic Records CEO is having a banner year thanks to the success of hip-hop’s golden child, Future. Taking a break from his busy schedule, Mr. Reid spoke on forming LaFace Records, Rick Ross, Roc-A-Fella split, Outkast, Diddy reunion, Bobby Shmurda, business models, hit songs, and everything in between. Ladies and gentleman, this is L.A. Reid.

I am a student and a year ago there was a time when I find it difficult to pay all my fees and expenses without doing anything or doing jobs that need a great deal of time at the expense of my precious study hour …. This is also the dilemma with house wives …. It is difficult to find some time in routine for some job … One of my friends introduced me a kind of online job that I was able to do in my free time and I could earn some good money …. First it felt difficult but with time I get used to it and now I am capable of making more 65-85 d0llars per hour …. Only normal keyboard knowledge and a connection to net was …. I am placing this opportunity for you guys . It may help you guys to stand up and fulfill your dreams as this did in my case ….

LA Reid don’t know what he’s talking about,.he’s washed up and can’t come with a hit. Any song can be a hit if the radio station keeps pumping the song in your ears. There are lots of songs out there that shouldn’t be even played but they do and it’s garbage.

    1. Energetic says:

Finally said some real non troll shit good job Roberto !

Say you guys somehow get Drake on, you telling me you’re capping that interview at 1 hour? I do sometimes prefer the longer format podcasts. Remember loving J Cole’s interview with Combat a few years back, that was a flat 2 hours.

    1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

I know, but an hour seems good, no?

      1. Kevknows says:

I listened to the Punch interview and heard how Elliot mentioned how he treated artist in his earlier days. Not coming out the office, not touching the people, etc. My sister (blood) is an amazing artist. She produces, sings and writes. She”s lit and she hasn’t been at it for that long. Here’s her stuff http://www.malindalebeau.com/ . Whether you click the link or not I’m writing this post to serve as a reminder for myself when we’re on mic talking. Just a matter of time. I just prefer you catch the wave sooner than later. We in this for the music.

  11. Uncle Tom says:

Elliot Wilson just has one of those face that makes you angry and want to kick his teeth in. B dot thought he was fly but ended up looking like a little boy that dressed himself for church for the first time. Nigga that jacket is too small and you’re too old to not know that.

    1. Dark Matters says:

You sound like you weren’t breastfed, as a child.

      1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

        or laid as an adult

          1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

          3. DAMN RIGHT! says:

Him and Babyface wrote songs together, but true heads know it’s was all Babyface.

        1. Uncle Tom says:

Ha! A virgin joke, that was childish like that jacket you were wearing.

          1. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:
