So in honor of Sir Juice, I’ve begun the painful process of diggin’ through my old dusty cassettes to see if I have a gem or two for you. Here’s what sounds like Biz Mark’s first radio interview ever. Yup, I do it for hip-hop. Why would you even try to compete? Ha. Sidebar: Miss Info has the funeral arrangements.
Fuck me, I never noticed Russell and Lyor’s birthdays were a day apart. That’s some spooky shit. Here’s the GG account from last night’s party. Yes, while 50 was making nice with all the NY rappers, Lyor Cohen was celebrating his 50th. Ha. Middle finger salute! Don’t forget Amber!
The Godfather is 52 today. Salute! Whatchu kids know about Def Jam history?
And now, for the main event. Accompanied by his G-Unit brethren, 50 hit the stage and performed an endless supply of hits. In fact, he was so amped, he threw his leather jacket in the crowd. Towards the middle of set, he allowed them boys from Yonkers to do their one-two things. Later came Maino. Unfortunately, Flip Cams aren’t built for six hour concerts. Sorry Jermaine.

With his own camera in hand, it was Jimmy’s turn to turn it up a notch. Along with Santana Bandana, the tandem ran through some Dipset classics and even “Pop Champagne” with Ron Browz. Mazel Tov.
[vodpod id=Groupvideo.3568962&w=425&h=350&fv=] Initially when this song dropped, I panned it as “underwhelming.” Well, after the thousandth spin on my Hot nine-seven, its stuck in my head. I need a brain wash. With that said, check out a behind-the-scenes look from the video shoot. Props: 305
I have to admit that Russ's vocals on 'Crazy' are really impressive. The way he modulates his voice fits the mood of the song perfectly. Maybe the melody is a little too 'clean' for my personal taste, but there's no denying that Russ is a talented artist. His ability to sing and rap on 'Crazy' makes it a catchy track, highlighting his talent.
