Moment Of Clarity: Fabolous & 50 Cent

Fab took to Twitter this morning and tried to make sense of the fuckery surrounding him and 50 Cent. Yesterday, he questioned 50’s motives behind his Thisis50 Fest last weekend. Though Loso clarified that he was wasn’t dissing 50, Curt said he was disappointed by the inquiry and implied that Fab was a turncoat. Whatever the motivation, Fab’s entitled to his opinion. Fif’s no dummy. He’s shrewd and abides by Robert Greene’s 48 Laws of Power. Hell, the author even […]

Usher Jacks Gorilla Zoe

Jeezy’s new joint has the Beewirks’ beat from Cam and DJ Drama’s mixtape. The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League doubled up at Def Jam. And now, Usher’s divorce tale takes a track from a Gorilla Zoe mixtape. *Slaps forehead* There’s really no such thing as an exclusive nowadays. Zaytoven on the upgrade. Heads Up: Young Safe The Scoop: Smoking Section Sidebar: Singing about signing divorce papers and you haven’t signed them? Sigh.

Jay Smooth Ethers Roman Polanski

The world’s greatest rap vlogger speaks on the famous movie director who’s recent arrest over a 1977 sex case has lead to a outpouring of support from the film community. Should he be jailed after being in exile for over 30 years? I say, Yes. A few weeks ago, Angela Yee and I got into a big debate about this topic on her Shade 45 morning show. Thankfully, Jay wins the argument for me. Thanks, pal. Ill Doctrine

Young Money Takes Amsterdam

Jay-Z wasn’t the only Carter on his international hustle last night, Lil Wayne took his crew to Amsterdam. If you remember awhile back, Dwayne canceled his European dates, but he’s returned to get that passport stamped. In the above clip, he’s still doing Drake’s part from “Every Girl” as Baby’s new cash cow recuperates. The fun continues in the UK tonight and tomorrow. Sidebar: I’m starting to get excited about the “No Ceilings” mixtape. I miss the Mixtape Weezy.

New Music: Lola x Pitbull “Fresh Out The Oven”

“You say you want the cookie? You’re gonna have to wait for the cookie.” Who’s Lola, you ask? It’s Jennifer Lopez tryin’ to get her music career back on track with the help of Pitbull and production by The Neptunes. Coincidentally, with all this Shyne talk, J-Lo’s back in the mix. It’s been a long time since the Nine-Nine. I hate to admit it, but this tune ain’t bad. Eat your heart out, Cassie. Spotted: Life Files & Pinboard

Diddy Would ‘Love’ To Reunite With The L.O.X.

[vodpod id=Groupvideo.3594328&w=425&h=350&fv=configParams%3Dinstance%253Dnews%2526id%253D1622987%2526vid%253D443560] Diddy tells the 1515 Boys that he’d like to work again with the Yonkers trio. Hopefully, The L.O.X. live up to their acronym and kindly decline. Remember wanting to throw a refrigerator off the roof, Jada?

Update: Shyne Still In Custody

This news is sad and upsetting. Representatives for the rapper revealed to MTV News that the Brooklyn MC is being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an unspecified facility in Western New York State. Officials are determining whether or not to deport the rapper, who was born in Belize, a rep explained. “Shyne is currently in federal custody while his future immigration status is determined,” the rep said in a message to MTV News. Shyne attorney Oscar Michelen […]

Jay-Z’s “Young Forever” Debut

[vodpod id=Groupvideo.3588672&w=425&h=350&fv=] At tonight’s gig in Norway, Hov gave his first performance of the final track on BP3. Unfortunately, it’s just a lil’ tease. Guess somebody wants to keep his job. Props: Whoever taught Neil Armstrong how to use his computer? This guy’s outta control today. Ha.

50 Cent Responds To Fabolous’ Tweets

Earlier today, Fabolous questioned the motives of  50 Cent’s Thisis50 Fest concert via Twitter. Yesterday, I speculated that 50 was applying Law #2 from the 48 Laws Of Power.  I was called a cynic. 24 hours later, Fif responded to Fab’s inquiry with the same excerpt. Told you, I wasn’t crazy! Is Shyne Free Yet?

Now I believe it. A Clinton Correctional Facility staffer confirmed his release. I think The God deserves time to lay low. Remember that ODB VH1 show? Life is deeper than rap. CBS Update: Uh oh. Not so fast.

Mariah Has Features In Her Future

The final sales numbers of Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel are being tallied as I type but from the early projections, it’s not looking good. Still even if Mariah Carey falls short of having a number one album in the country there are still plans to push her latest product. In fact, Rap Up has found out a top-secret remix album is already in the works. So far only Trey Songz (who would show up to a Rap Radar kickball […]

Ne-Yo Flaunts His Pen Game

At a fancy schmancy charity event that he threw last night, Ne-Yo took it to the stage. Here’s a medley of him performing three huge hits he wrote for B, Ri-Ri, and Mario. I imagine those are some nice checks, son. Spotted: Fly Girl via All That’s Fab Sidebar: Regarding Chris Brown’s ex’s next album, he says, “She has some things to say and she’s definitely going to say them—loudly.” MyFox
