Yayo even goes on to call him the Godfather of Hip-Hop. Bambaataa ain’t gon like that. Ha! “Eminem is like the godfather of the hip-hop game,” Yayo said. “In a time like this, when records are not selling, he’s the only one that is selling. You know, Drake and all the other ones [did well], but Em did [close to] 800,000 his first week, and he’s #1 for […]

Soulja Boy turned 20 years old yesterday and held his birthday party at Club Highland in Los Angeles. So now that he’s officially a grown ass man, please dead the “oh, he’s just a lil’ kid” defense for his puerile records. Welcome to the jungle. Here’s some new material off Sheek Louch’s forthcoming Donny Def Jam mixtape. It’s also produced by Sean C and LV. Ain’t no fun and games here. Related: I believe this was Q-Tip’s first recorded appearance.
This video for "Travel The World" is a solid vibe! Termanology and Bun B bring such a smooth, classic hip-hop energy, and Enisa’s vocals really elevate the track. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to pack your bags and explore somewhere new immediately. Watching their journey through the visuals makes me seriously daydream about booking a trip—maybe planning some new zealand holidays is exactly what I need to cure this wanderlust. The chemistry between the artists is undeniable, and it’s a great addition to the project. Definitely a track worth keeping on repeat this season!
