[sparkart-clique site=”rap_radar” video=”wale_4″] We’re nearing the end of our More About Nothing preview so why not smooth things out a bit. No slackin’ on your mackin’, young pimpin’. 5 days to go. Acapella raps FTW!
Although Freddie Gibbs is set to drop his new EP Str8 Killa next Tuesday, he’s already working on his next project. He gave an entertaining interview with Complex and he revealed that he’s prepping his new album entitled, Baby Faced Killa. Complex: Are you guys doing a full-length album? Freddie Gibbs: ….That’s gonna be my major label project, Baby-Faced Killa. Complex: So how far along into Baby-Faced Killa are you? Freddie Gibbs: Shit, probably like three or four records. I […]
[vodpod id=Video.4120140&w=425&h=350&fv=id%3Dv218689152%26amp%3BshareEnable%3D1] Cee-Lo takes a walk through no mans land in his new video. But it’s all goodie, the song and visual are cool. Run, run to the stores and pick up Lady Killer later this year.
Cease and CNN forget about the past and look towards the future on a remix for Cease-A-Leo. Hustle hard. 57th ave
Soulja Boy turned 20 years old yesterday and held his birthday party at Club Highland in Los Angeles. So now that he’s officially a grown ass man, please dead the “oh, he’s just a lil’ kid” defense for his puerile records. If you’re over 18, it’s time to start acting (and rhyming) like an adult. hhnm via hhw
Here’s the full speech from the Black Panther leader that Ricky Rozay used to intro track #3 off Teflon Don. The #2 album in the world. Rap Radar is #1. Ha!
Welcome to the jungle. Here’s some new material off Sheek Louch’s forthcoming Donny Def Jam mixtape. It’s also produced by Sean C and LV. Ain’t no fun and games here. Related: I believe this was Q-Tip’s first recorded appearance.
It’s deeper than catered food. Here’s a first look inside Kanye’s next video as the paper of record interviewed the man behind it, Marco Brambilla. Here’s a tease as we patiently wait. In a coming video for his single “Power” that was created by the artist Marco Brambilla, Mr. West is seen standing imposingly with a heavy chain around his neck. As Mr. West raps the camera slowly zooms out in one continuous, unedited take to reveal him in a […]
Jim Jones has already put in work for his fifth studio LP, Capo, which will see the light of day on September 28th via E1. Dipset’s reunion track “Salute”, will actually be the project’s official first single. Of course it is. hhnm
This was bound to happen sooner or later. Rozay drives in the paint with one of the hardest beats out right now. He goes hard too. Pause. Rick and Lex Luger are a good combination.
This new video for "Travel The World" by Termanology featuring Bun B and Enisa is such an absolute masterpiece! Termanology comes through with his signature sharp lyricism and smooth flow, while the legendary Bun B brings that unmistakable Southern gravitas to every single bar. On top of that, Enisa’s lush, soulful hook completely ties the whole production together, making it an instant classic that you just want to put on repeat on every playlist. The vibrant visuals and Jetset energy in the video capture the essence of global exploration perfectly. Honestly, watching them vibe across amazing locations gets me so hyped for my own upcoming New Zealand tour next month. Seeing all those scenic backdrops makes me want to pack my bags right now and soak in every bit of adventure. Major props to everyone involved in making this visual marvel happen—it’s definitely one of the cleanest, most refreshing releases of the year!
