Damn, I might’ve left too soon. You think? The Queen Bee came out and did “The Jump Off”. Oh well. I think I’ll get over it. Sidebar: Is that you Petey? Milk Carton 4 Life. Freshalina
Don’t feel bad Nick, YN got ditched for breakfast too. But at least I got to ride in the high-powered elevator. Ha! Previously: Nick Cannon Needs A Ride
Tom Caruana flips samples from the Fab Four over classic Wu-Tang tracks. Blends for days. Download it here and peep the tracklist after the break.
“This man is a musical genius” Before I headed to BK to see Jay Elect, I actually stopped by Timbo’s show at Irving Plaza for a grand total of 20 mins. So I missed Puff comin’ out and doin’ “Mo Money, Mo Problems”. Hmm. Not bad. Bonus: Here’s some strange show opening footage I caught of Tim. Hey, I stay with the Flip, kid. Sample this!
One of the greatest groups in history reunited last night. Ashamed to admit I missed this. Hey, I’m 39 I need to catch some shut-eye sometimes. Sorry Kamaal. I saw you walkin around the spot incognito like the fuckin’ “Hot Sex” video. Ha! Omen UPDATE: LTD Mag got better footage. [vodpod id=Video.2904676&w=425&h=350&fv=] Here’s the Press Play intv as promised, which is pretty blah until the 3:40 mark when Wale puts together a couple of fictional supergroups. Who knew dude was such a Young Dro fan.
Finally got a chance to check out the visual from Sha Money XL’s new artist, Kidd Kidd. Remember, dude used to roll with Lil Wayne and was the feature on “Mrs. Officer”. Here, he laments the losses his hometown suffered from Hurrricane Katrina and dedicates the song to the people of Haiti. Good stuff.
Back in December, The Officer performed in Wyclef’s homeland. WSHH just released some behind the scenes footage, but I prefer the clip above that I found on YouTube. Pretty sure, this won’t be the last time we see a rapper perform there.
This video is pure adrenaline! Don Toliver and Doja Cat really brought the racing theme to life with those futuristic visuals. I actually watched it on my smart TV using YouTube TV, and if you ever need help with your account, the youtube tv phone number is super handy-I called once about a billing question and got through quickly. The chemistry between these two artists is off the charts.
