Always nice to see a rap vet clown the kids. Hey, this is pretty funny. Question though: Is it mandatory for EVERYONE to big up Drake? Hip-hop stays filled with bandwagon jumpers. I just call it like I see it.

New York, NY—Legendary television Anchor Walter Cronkite passed away at 92 in his Manhattan home. The man was synonymous with news so much so, Grand Puba started using his name as a slang term for the 411. Salute to a true journalist. Bow down, bloggers.

Shaffer says he has a sinus infection. That’s why he cried and didn’t finish his set in Manchester. And if you’re a blogger like me and got a problem with that—you can go to hell. Okey doke.

‘”Stupid move,” Yayo said a couple of days ago in Astoria, Queens. ‘It’s dumb. When I see guys like Jay-Z, 50 and Diddy, there’s no need for me [to beef with them]. They got too much money. Dudes got sniper money. You gotta chill. I chill. You gotta leave them kinda dudes alone. That’s how I look at it. I don’t know how other rappers look at it. These guys is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. 50, Eminem, Dre, Diddy — waste of time, man.”
This excerpt does an excellent job of balancing mystery with character development. Sarah’s transformation feels believable and unsettling at the same time, and Nico’s internal struggle adds emotional realism. The fact that she forgets both trivial details and life-altering events shows how completely her past has been erased. I love how the story hints that the truth is still buried beneath the surface, creating a sense that the past will inevitably resurface, no matter how much is forgotten. tvg
