This was initially supposed to drop last year. But with yesterday marking 11 years since Pun’s passing DJ Soul finally releases his tribute mix of the late rapper. He plans to release the project on iTunes with proceeds going towards Pun’s family. Tracklist and download link after the jump.

With today marking the 11th anniversary of Big Pun’s death, Angie Mar dug in her archives and found an old interview with Big Pun and N.O.R.E. on Hot 97. Pun talks about being nominated for a Grammy and wanting to be the first rapper to release a quadruple album. Ha! Rest In Peace, Punisher.

N.O.R.E. mentioned this unreleased Pun tribute track during his XXL ustream session a few weeks ago, that was premiered on Hot 97 awhile back, but never heard again. Thanks to 57th Ave, they just rebirthed the track. RIP Chris Rios.
