Two ‘Bad Bitches’ are better than one.
We’re pretty sure Scooter has plenty of time to reflect behind bars. But today, he puts it all on wax with Webbie chiming in. Cell Block To Your Block on August 1.
Boosie’s still behind bars, but DJ Smallz got his hands on an unreleased track for his That Southern Smoke! Vol. 5. Boosie is expected to be released from prison November 2014.
With a few Bentleys, a whole lot of cash and plenty of women, it seems like Webbie’s doing pretty good these days. Well at least in his brand new video, that is.
Besides rapping and loitering the local Walmart, Webbie explains what he really does on his new single. For $2.58, you can purchase it on iTunes.
A-S-S-A-U-L-T, do you know what that mean? It means a Simple Battery & Robbery charge for Webster after allegedly kicking a woman down two flights of stairs then robbing her for $340. However, a rep for Webbie tells TMZ, the allegations of assault are false, but admits his client took the money, which was rightfully his. Webbie was released on a $9,000 bond.
Webbie and others gathered to say farewell
Wale, in this track, shows once again his ability to blend different genres. He doesn't limit himself to hip-hop, but enriches it with R&B nuances, creating a familiar sound. This fusion is not only an exercise in style, but serves to intensify the emotional impact of the song. And then there is his ability to rap. Wale is a master at playing with words, creating complex rhymes and modulating his voice to best express his emotions. In 'Blanco', his rap part is an explosion of words that intertwine with the melody, creating a hypnotic and relaxing effect. His ability to go from moments of pure energy to moments of deep introspection is what makes this track so engaging; it reminds me of when you would slow dance, hugging your woman.
