While on the set of Eminem’s “Berzerk” video, co-star and producer Rick Rubin spoke on working with Em and how the song came to fruition. By this time next week, the track will officially be platinum. Push ya shit back, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 drops November 5th.

lyrically such a good song. the haters will say its not. if you don’t know the double and triple meanings in the verses thats cool you prollly dont know shit about the meanings twisted up in all of his other songs. This dude is amazing and the haters are sick of him which I can understand but the shit bumps and has comedic value and shits on all other top 40 songs(rap especially) well I guess the top 40 ap chart because most ap songs aren’t even good enough to crack the actual top 40 and this shit is deeper in tones and meaning even though its the poppy shit to bring middle america back to the em train.
at least its not just bitches that wil be buying this album and its not fake fabricated raps like tyga amc miller tyler the creator rick ross.. Em and Jay(sounds so stereo typical I know) are the only main stream acts when rapping about their actual day to days lifes are telling the honest to god truth.. hen they are talking about their money it is the honest to god truth.
Their is a bad ass chick out now called Lorde who has a song call Royal(e) where she disses mainstream rappers talking about maybachs and diamonds and shit like they can actually afford it or like you should be trying to aspire to owning that shit..
Thats gay and leads to nothing but moore false raps.. she says something like all i want is cadillacs and shit which used to be how rap was in the 90s(outkast do or die and so on and yadda yadda) now rap is so blown uot of proportion because these dumb ass rappers think if you aren’t at the top of the game you arent shit.
while in reality the ones who talk about shit that people who aren’t in the music game are striving to attain( a house, paying the rent making a car note) they are much more geniune and better music.
I dont want fake stories and movies(which rick ross has called his fake raps.. movie raps) I want shit that I can feel like is an attainable goal or shit i’ve been through.

So you want real songs that talk about the real struggles of artists today? Sounds like a perfect contradiction to me. Most of the artists now haven’t been thru anything that you talked about so don’t expect a “real” song that has their struggles of wanting anything besides more money. Might wanna stick with old school rap if you wanna hear about “real” struggles, these guys nowadays are only spitting what the kids wanna hear about.
King Mathers just acknowledge the fan base and consistency. I’ll be the first to admit there’s been a drop off in quality music from Em but dude still success at anything he does. Lyrically its a good track. Sonically, its grown on me. Look forward to the rest of the album.
