Reworked by Houston DJs OG RON C and DJ Slim K of The ChopStars, the release finds the LP in its slow-tempo groove filled with skipped patterns and scratches in its H-Town sound. The project also bundles the original records for its second volume.

21 Savage and Metro Boomin released their long-awaited, Savage Mode 2 on October 2. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts earning both artists their second chart-topper. The 15-track set features the hits “Runnin” and “My Dawg” as well as guests Drake, Young Thug, and Young Nudy.
