21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s Savage Mode 2 has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
In its first week, the album earned 171,000 equivalent album units with 22,000 in album sales, and 200.1 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs.
This marks the biggest opening week for both artists and their second No. 1 Billboard 200. In 2018, Metro Boomin earned his first chart topper with his first solo LP, Not All Heroes Wear Capes. The same year, 21 Savage scored his first No. 1 with his sophomore album, I Am > I Was.
Each artist also tallies their fourth Top 10 album including their joint LP with Offset Without Warning debuting at No. 4 in 2017. The same year, 21 Savage’s debut Issa Album opened at No. 2, while Metro Boomin’s joint album with Big Sean Double Or Nothing debuted at No. 6. Congrats!
