Kanye Targeted For Parkinson’s Lyric

  24 hours after the release of Yeezus, Kanye’s already ruffling a few feathers. The American Parkinson Disease Association tells TMZ  that they’re shaken up over the “On Sight” lyric: “We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson’s”. Says VP Kathryn Whitford:  “We find these lyrics distasteful and the  product of obvious ignorance.”

Kanye Debuts Short Film In L.A.

Inspired by the film, American Psycho, Kanye projected his two minute short-film during his Yeezus listening last night at L.A.’s Milk Studios. Rap-Up was on hand to capture the clip. The two-minute clip was shot earlier this month in Brooklyn and stars Kim Kardashian’s BFF Jonathan Cheban and her sister Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick. In the horror film, a dapper Disick ends up attacking Cheban with an axe, leaving his bloody body on the floor.

Rick Rubin On Producing Kanye’s Yeezus

At the loading dock in NYC’s meatpacking district, Kanye hosted a listening session for his upcoming album, Yeezus. He played a few tracks off the album, explained its concept and marketing strategy. Following Kendrick Lamar and Nas the previous day, Kanye closed out Governors Ball last night on Randall’s Island in NY and treated fans to a few tracks presumably off Yeezus. Kanye & Kim Expecting A Girl

Lord Yeezus, it’s a girl! On last night’s season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed the gender of their first child. “I’m so excited we’re having a girl. Who doesn’t want a girl? They’re the best and I know that’s really what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl.”

Kanye Debuts “Black Skinhead” On SNL

Kanye West was back on SNL as the musical guest and helped bring their season to a close this evening. For his first performance, he premiered his rock-influenced track “Black Skinhead”. Below, he returns for a televised performance of “New Slaves”, which he premiered the previous night by projecting the video on 66 buildings in 10 cities across the globe. Yeezy season continues.
