Last fall, Diddy’s oldest son Justin, accepted a full scholarship to play football at UCLA. Now six months later, local tax payers are calling for Justin to forfeit his endowment due to his father’s net worth.
This is just stupid. With a 3.75 GPA, Justin earned his ride fair and square. It’s not his fault his pops can cop Maybachs like white-tees. Here’s to sticking it to the man.

Do you know who has a problem with this? It’s students that only can afford school only through loans. They see some kid who’s dad is worth half a billion and can afford to pay for his son’s education (shit the car he got for his 16th can pay for 6 years worth of school alone) getting a scholarship and of course they’re going to be pissed.

and if its based off academic a 3.75 thats admission for most california residents to get into UCLA thas a good ass school My roommate’s sister just graduated from a private school in Atlanta head of her class with a 4.2(Yes its possible to get over a 4.0 in highschool) and while she have a scholarship their parents still have to pay out of poccet so Diddy son getting a full ride off of 3.75 its kind of questionable especially since alot of my peers(Who are california Residents) had to get somewhere around there just for admission and the basic aid i cant imagine an out of state academic scholly being that big especially with the situation just heard from my roommate

2. They can give full ride for a 3.75 GPA, a lot of schools do around 3.4 and up.
3. Its not JUST grades, its football as well (if he is at least average, it helps a bad school)
4. Its not that big a deal. Someone is getting it or not getting it.
5. He is #1 in forbes for just hip hop, (doesn’t include the big businesses, just rappers)
6. Its NOT taxpayer money
7. If it was, he still has to pay for books and that should be punishment enough

Rutgers and NJIT are rival schools in Jersey depending on major and Rutgers had the easier scholarship.
If you were varsity in a school sport, you needed 3.4+ to get a scholarship (Full) and you have to do more for your school, like future business leader clubs and all that. (Not have to but they recommend)
NJIT said 3.6 and up. I got partial for a 3.3 and it is 28K a year if you live in state and dorm there. They gave 14K a year if I kept above a 3.0 GPA for Mechanical Engineering.
2year varsity (football 2, baseball 1), 3.2x (rounded to 3.3) GPA, and decent 1820 SAT got me 14K. Work hard and you get it.
