2019 AMAs Performances

Take what you want and go.

The 2019 American Music Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles last night (November 24) and was aired live on ABC. Throughout the evening, the ceremony featured musical performances from some of today’s music’s biggest names.

Post Malone set the stage ablaze with a fiery performance of his hit “Circles“. Afterwards, Travis Scott and Ozzy Osbourne joined Postey for their first live performance of “Take What You Want”.

The ladies flourished throughout the awards. Lizzo glamed up and recited a soulful rendition of her, Cuz I Love You album’s standout Jerome“. Meanwhile, Toni Braxton took the AMAs back with a medley of throwback hits, while Ciara brought her new female empowerment single, “Melanin” with a bonus performance by Xfinity.

Big wins during the night included Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding taking Favorite Album Rap/Hip-Hop. Lil Nas X’ record-breaking hit “Old Town Road” was dubbed Favorite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop, while Cardi B was crowned Favorite Artist Rap/Hip-Hop.

Khalid came up big as he won Favorite Male Artist Pop/Rock, Favorite Album Soul/R&B (Free Spirit) and Favorite Song Soul/R&B (“Talk“). Bruno Mars was awarded Favorite Male Artist Soul/R&B, while Beyonce was chosen the Favorite Female Artist Soul/R&B. The full list of winners can be viewed here.
