Juelz Santana Released From Prison
I’m baaack.
Juelz Santana has just been released from prison early after serving nearly 20 months.
On Wednesday (August 5), Juelz posted his first post-prison photo wearing his “Free Santana” t-shirt and hat. He was greeted by his wife Kimbella and three children including Santana James, who was born during his incarceration.
In December of 2018, the Harlem rapper was ordered to serve 27 months in jail after he was arrested in March for attempting to board a plane with .38-caliber handgun and eight oxycodone pills at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
Juelz, 38, was initially scheduled to be released next February, but was granted an early release due to the CoronaVirus pandemic. He will be under supervised release for the next 12 months.
Earlier this year, the Dipset member released his latest mixtape, #FreeSantana. Aye!
