In the midst of these uncertain times, Jeezy gives hope on his 10th studio album, The Recession 2.

Even after 12 years since his 2008’s The Recession, The Snowman still maneuvers through economic crisis and racial tension during the pandemic. The project is lead by hit single “Back” featuring Yo Gotti and his moment of clarity follow up “Therapy For My Soul“.

At 15 tracks, guest appearances include Rick Ross (“Almighty Black Dollar”), E-40 (“Da Ghetto”), Ne-Yo (“The Glory”), Tamika Mallory (“Oh Lord”), and Demi Lovato and Lil Duval who both appear on “My Reputation”.

The release follows his epic Verzuz battle with nemesis Gucci Mane as well as the launch of his weekly 8-episode limited podcast series The (Re)Session and his new weekly Fox Soul talk show, Worth A Conversation with Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins.

Jeezy has also resigned with Def Jam and took a consultant role as the label’s Senior Advisor for A&R and Artist Development.
