Kodak Black Pleads Guilty To Assault
18?
Kodak Black has accepted a deal involving his criminal sexual conduct charge in South Carolina.
On Wednesday (April 28), Kodak Black, born Bill Kapri, appeared in a Florence courtroom and was sentenced to 18 months probation for first-degree assault and battery involving a teenage girl at a Florence hotel.
After sentencing, the 23-year-old rapper was given the opportunity to apologize to his victim, who appeared via virtual feed. “I apologize this happened and I’m hopeful we can all move forward,” he said.
In February 2016, Kodak Black was accused of forcing an 18-year-old girl onto a bed and biting the victim on her neck and breast. He was initially charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and facing 30 years in state prison.
Earlier this year, Kodak Black was pardoned by Donald Trump after serving half of his 46-month sentence for a weapons conviction. Since then, he has released music (“Last Day In“, “Every Balmain“, “Easter In Miami“), and was a victim in a shooting in Tallahassee but was unharmed.
