21 Savage perseveres through his trials and tribulations on his third solo album, American Dream, which is inspired by his upcoming biopic, American Dream: The 21 Savage Story.

Beginning with the title-track “American Dream”, the score features 15 tracks including “Redrum“, “All Of Me”, “Sneaky”, “Letter To My Brudda”, “See The Real”, “Red Sky”, and a various collaborations.

Producer and frequent collaborator Metro Moomin makes numerous appearances throughout the album including the track “Pop Ur Shit” along with Young Thug, “”Nee-Nah” featuring Travis Scott, and “Just Like Me” with Burna Boy. Other guests include Doja Cat, Lil Durk, Summer Walker, Brent Faiyaz, and Mariah The Scientist.

American Dream: The 21 Savage Story, is a film based on the rapper’s upbringing, music career, and his controversial incarceration by ICE in 2019. It stars Donald Glover who portrays the rapper and actor Caleb McLaughlin, who takes the role of the young version of 21.

American Dream marks 21 Savage’s first solo album since 2018’s chart-topping album, I Was”>I Am > I Was. Since then, the Atlanta rapper released two-chart topping collaborative albums including last year’s Her Loss with Drake and Savage Mode II with Metro Boomin back in 2020.
