Grand Slam

Just a few thoughts: This is the greatest diss song since “Ether.” Meek still hasn’t fully recovered. It was nominated for a Grammy? Crazy! Don’t make Aubrey angry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.—EW

    1. Yamzislife says:

      Man that was like 2014?

      1. RTH says:

whoops. knew it had to be a future track tho

  6. Shock says:

    Should’ve been one

  7. JustSaying says:

Impact wise this was def number 1. Yall crazy. Next year do a visual telling the rap radar community what the criteria is for these lists so we can properly fan out over the picks.

    1. Da Business says:

Bruh, I’ve been saying this for 3 years now.

  8. Captain Jack says:

Aubrey did his thing on this one and to think he had another hit/diss record in the clip…lol

  9. The Ripper says:

Meek will never recover from this diss…

  10. Iamstillmusic says:

This is the greatest diss some Ether? I hate this fake ass soap opera rap drama now. And the worst part is people know it’s fake and pretend it’s real. This weak song shouldn’t even be in the same breath as Ether, fuck this gay ass transsexual generation.

    1. Shock says:

Don’t let your emotions get in the way of reason. What diss song has had a bigger impact on rap since Ether?

      1. Winston Wolfe says:

True indeed. Hate to admit it myself but facts are facts

      2. Iamstillmusic says:

It’s not emotions, this diss was stupid as fuck. This coming from the same dude who did nothing when Jay Z called him a woman, Pusha T called him out and Kendrick too. This entire beef was orchestrated and it only had an impact because of Twitter. His fans won this beef for him, not the bars. I will never put this up there with Ether which was legendary. The worst diss I’ve ever heard on both sides and I’m a Drake fan.

        1. Shock says:

Lmao yeah you sound emotional. The fans always determine what’s dope and what’s not. And what does the other shit have to do with this song? You argue like a female. It’s not as good as Ether or No Vaseline, bUT it’s impact is just as big

          1. Iamstillmusic says:

No you argue like a Drake fan who has dick all in his mouth. Drake has the gayest fans out of any rapper in the history of rap. I don’t care what his Twitter fans did, the point is, this beef was the worst beef I’ve ever seen and the song was weak. People on Twitter won’t change my perception in this sheep generation where people hate the truth.

          2. Music says:

I really do hope they make a time machine in your life time so you can travel back the days of graffiti and Hammer-time.

          3. Shock says:

Now you sound suspect with all the homoerotic talk.

          4. Iamstillmusic says:

Yeah bro, when I don’t have a point I result to insults as well.

          5. Shock says:

I just think your true obsession with gays come out

          6. Iamstillmusic says:

Nahh I’m straight, you just don’t know how to argue music and result to insults when you have nothing to say. I understand though, you’ll learn hip hop one day. Just be patient

          7. Shock says:

I was the one who gave facts…you were the one who went on emotions and startEd talking about dicks, transvestites, and fags. I even agrees that Ether was better..lol. as I said, you argue like a woman

          8. Iamstillmusic says:

Nahh that’s just what this generation represents, this modern society is hopeless. My argument is that it shouldn’t even be in the same breath as Ether. Ever.

        2. Epul says:

Of course it was gonna have impact. Anything Drake breathes on gets radio spins, plus throw in the drama with Nicki, social media, memes and don’t forget this single was released with Apple behind it. This song literally had one weak ass qouteable lol

          1. Iamstillmusic says:

I just hate this generation bruh. Social media is destroying reality right in front of our eyes.

        3. as far as “the fans won the beef for him” – i think that’s the point. why? well, because music is for entertainment and if meek was the loser in the fan’s eyes then that’s all that matters.

      3. Music says:

Nas drops ‘Ether’, 15 years later, Jay Z is on his 11th or 12th #1 album and signs Nas to his label.

Drake drops Back To Back, couple months later, Meek Mill damn near loses everything he built with his career so far and still falling in shambles.

So yes, Back To Back as a diss was better than Ether. Ether didn’t do anything to Jay at all.

        1. Iamstillmusic says:

Back to Back had people on Twitter dissing Meek Mill but that was about it? How is his career over, he hasn’t dropped anything since then?

Ether is the greatest DISS of all time irrespective of what it did to Jay’s career. Nothing can touch Jay Z because he’s the GOAT but as a diss record, Nas did what no one will ever do again. Back to back is not better than any notable diss in the history in rap history. If anything it’s the weakest and the most overhyped beef I’ve ever seen because Drake didn’t even address the ghostwriting. Real rap over anything and anyone.

          1. Music says:

Nas did what no one will do ever again, but nothing can touch Jay – Z? Yet Ether is the greatest DISS of all time despite it not doing anything to Jay?

Is a Diss record suppose to make your opponent more relevant than you two decades later and end up signing under him? If so then I have to agree, Ether is the best DISS of all time!

          2. Iamstillmusic says:

I’m judging the diss song from the actual song, there is no rapper on earth who can take down Jay Z because he’s the GOAT but as a SONG Ether was the greatest diss ever. It’s not hard to understand

          3. Kris Kompute says:

Super Ugly was a great response to Ether. In a huge Nas fan, but when you’re 32 years old and your mother makes you apologize for something you said in a record you know it was disrespectful.

To your point, this beef was damn near staged.

          4. Iamstillmusic says:

People think I have something against Drake and I don’t, I just can’t stand how the rap industry is turning into a fake reality show

          5. Velma Ramirez says:

I have scored 169k dollars previous year working online and I am a full time student. I am attached with an online business entity that I heard about and I have earned such great cash. It is really user friendly and I feel myself lucky to have that option. Why not try this.

            hbm…

    2. Winston Wolfe says:

But you agree with Future being #1 though? What in the . . . never mind P.S. – S/O to Nas! “Ether” is still untouchable aside from “Hit Em Up”

    3. RapisNOWGAY says:

Agree Drake is the poster child for FAKE , what people parodies in the 80s 90s 00s came in full force in 2010 and beyond. We had positive rap in the early 80s, gangsta rap in the 90s, bling rap late 90s, a white rapper no one ever predicted to be number one in 2000, then everyone started experimenting with what weird can we get..a gay rapper (YT) a sensitive light skin rapper (Drake) from a suburban family in Canada…by his second album he was and i quote “catching bodies” – don’t confuse fame with realness ….fuck boys is everywhere and now they are the new normal !!

    4. nhn says:

Jadakiss check mate is up there

    5. A. says:

Couldn’t agree more. Ether runs circles over it.

  11. "SMH" says:

    I was right

They do the same thing every year. Hate on the OG’s and less popular people and dick-ride all the young buzzing popular people.

    It’s all politics

  12. Jumpman says:

Meek got bodied by Drake period. This joint is fire. Up there in greatest disses ever. This is one of the greatest diss tracks of all time.

  13. Pritt Flair! says:

he still won’t go at Kornroll Kenny tho!!!! Dot been calling him out too..

  14. @tr_414 says:

Easily the rap song of the year in 2015. Hate him or love him, Drake stays making hits.

  15. Public Hairs says:

SINCE ETHER? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. @YN is VERY good at his troll job while getting paid for it. Makes us click every time cause we know it’s a troll post EVERY TIME.

    1. Which diss track would u say is the best since Nas’ ?

  16. supreme says:

Best diss is Tupac against all odds hands down all facts the end …
