Rhymefest lost his bid for alderman of Chicago’s 20th Ward Tuesday night to incumbent Willie Cochran. The Chicago Tribune reports the rapper pulled an impressive 45.4 percent of the votes, but it wasn’t enough for Cochran’s 54.6. According to NY1, two men have been arrested in connection to the shooting death of DJ Megatron. Richard Cromwell, 20, and William Williams, 21, were booked today on second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, stolen property and robbery. Megatron, who was buried yesterday, was killed last Sunday near his Staten Island home.
