Drake For All The Dogs Tops The Charts

Back on top.

Drake returns to the top of the Billboard charts with the release of his latest album, For All The Dogs.

Billboard confirms Drake’s eight studio and solo album debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts with 402,000 in equivalent album units in its first week sales. It marks the fourth-largest week of the year for an album, by units earned.

Album sales comprise of 10,000, which were only available for purchase as digital download. 391,000 of its SEA units equates to 514.01 million on-demand streams of its 23 tracks.

For All The Dogs is Drake’s 13th No. 1 album overall. Drake is now in third place with the most in Billboard history trailing The Beatles 19 No. 1s and JAY-Z with 14.

His previous chart-topping debuts include the studio albums Thank Me Later (2010), Take Care (2011), Nothing Was The Same (2013) Views (2016), Scorpion (2018), Certified Lover Boy (2021), and Honestly, Nevermind (2022).

Others include the mixtapes Care Package (2019), More Life (2017), If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (2015) and his collaborative projects What A Time To Be Alive with Future (2015) and Her Loss with 21 Savage (2022). For All The Dogs is also Drizzy’s 16th Top 10 entry in the Billboard 200.

In addition, Billboard reports the album’s “First Person Shooter”, a collaboration with J.Cole, launches at No. 1 this week on the Billboard 100 singles charts. Cole’s appearance earned the Dreamville rapper his first chart-topping single. “First Person Shooter” also gave Drake his 13th Billboard 100 No. 1 single, tying him with Michael Jackson for the most among solo male acts, and the fourth-most among all acts in Billboard history.

All 23 songs off For All The Dogs have charted on the Billboard 100, seven of which making the Top 10. Trailing “First Person Shooter” at No. 1 this week include “IDGAF” (No. 2), “Virginia Beach” (No. 3), “Calling For You” (No. 5), “Daylight” (No. 8), and “Fear Of Heights” (No. 10) all making their debuts. “Slime You Out” takes No. 6 after debuted at No. 1 three weeks ago.

For All The Dogs marks Drake’s eighth solo album. It features the singles “Search & Rescue”, “Slime You Out” featuring SZA, “8AM In Charlotte“ and features from J.Cole, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Bad Bunny, Sexyy Red, Teezo Touchdown, Yeat, and more.
